The Yaobai Cement grinding and packaging facility in Buikwe District is a modern, dust-free manufacturing plant that processes clinker supplied from the company’s primary mining and clinker production plant in Moroto.

Factory Operations & Overview

Function: Operates as a finishing, grinding, and packaging station producing final cement products for markets across Uganda.

Supply Chain: Receives raw clinker transported from the $300 million upstream mining and clinker plant located in Nadunget Sub-county, Moroto District.

Technology: Utilises clean, dust-controlled modern manufacturing systems designed to reduce environmental impact.

Parent Company: Owned and operated under Yaobai International / West China Cement Limited, contributing to national production goals alongside their other regional hubs.
